Tom Higgenson is an Illinois-born American musician. In 1997 he and his high school friends Dave Tirio, and Ken Fletcher formed the band Plain White T’s. Early on, the band had a largely underground following in Chicago basements, clubs, and pubs. The band is best known for their number-one hit song “Hey There Delilah,” which went platinum and received two Grammy nominations in 2007.
