New Signing: Classic Mara

Initium has signed Classic Mara, a professional sailor, former elite multi-sport athlete, and content creator preparing for the Golden Globe Race — one of the most demanding solo sailing challenges globally.

Based on paper in Norway but living full-time aboard her boat, Mara has spent four years sailing professionally. She is a licensed captain with an extensive sporting background, previously competing at professional level in rowing, bobsled, coastal rowing, and fencing before transitioning to offshore sailing.

Mara has founded and run businesses across social media, real estate, and fitness. She holds academic qualifications in economics, project management, business, training, nutrition, microbiology, and environmental studies.

What distinguishes Mara is the philosophy underpinning her professional ambition. Guided by her personal mantra, "Best Day Ever," she approaches each day with intention, curiosity, and gratitude — viewing fulfilment as something built through daily choice, even when uncomfortable.

Sailing has become a powerful extension of this mindset. Operating within a traditionally male-dominated space, Mara has repeatedly earned respect, challenged assumptions, and carved out her place through quiet resilience and consistency. That experience transformed sailing from passion into purpose.
